A few months ago, I submitted a few photos to a contest that Smithsonian Institute was holding. They had 5 categories: Americana, Altered Images, Travel, People, and Natural World. About 3 weeks ago, I received an email from Smithsonian saying I was one of 50 finalists out of 17,000 entries. I was completely blown away

Now you can go onto Smithsonian's website and vote for you favorite. It's for the 'Reader's Choice Award'. Right now I am in 5th place out of 50. I am very very very happy with where I am at but need more votes to get in the lead. Here is the link: [link]

My photo is #24, the starfish photo. Here is the info on voting: You are allowed to vote once every 24 hours on one computer, however, you are allowed to vote as many times in a day on as many computers you can find (get my drift?) You may have to cast your vote twice being I had to a few times because the first vote didn't count for some reason. If all of you could help me out on this it would mean the world to me and tell everybody you know to do the same.
